There's more than one way to sip and savor your Drambuie. Rusty Nail: 1oz Scotch whisky, 1oz Drambuie. Pour over ice cubes in an old fashioned glass. Stir. The Caber: 1 oz Drambuie, 1 oz Cognac. Served straight or over ice cubes. Traditional Drambuie. Drambuie Mist: Fill an old fashioned glass to the brim with crushed ice. Pour in Drambuie until the golden colour touches the rim of glass. Louis: A reasonably priced wine, hearty and full-bodied, with many of the characteristics of good red Burgundy. Serve with red meat and robust cheese. Page 2: Cheerful, fruity Beaujolais seems to inspire friendship wherever they appear... Sichel Beaujolaise Velours: A characteristically light, agreeable and fruity red wine from Beaujolaise, probably the best known wine district of France. Maybe served at "cellar temperature" (55 C) rather than room temperature. Bouchard Aine & Fils Beaujolaise Blanc: Only 4% of the wines produced in Beaujolaise area are white. This light, dry wine has the distinction of being the only example of the select group available in Ontario. Beaujolaise Chauvenet: A full-flavoured wine , delicate and refined. Beaujolaise Chauvenet is a young wine, light and fruity, with a very pleasant bouquet and all the charm and spirit of youth. Puits d'Amour: The essential Beaujolaise. This fresh and flowery red wine from the house of Antonine Rodet is a superb accompaniment to almost every meal. The Rhone River once provided Romans with easy access to the heartland of their western empire... Chateauneuf-du-Pape la Fiole : A matured red Chateauneuf-du-Pape From the Rhone valley, sold in irregularly shaped bottles charmingly reminiscent of the bottles produced by glass blowers of ancient times. Mommessin Chateauneuf-du-Pape : An excellent example of the most famous wines of the Rhone valley, big, robust red wine that perfectly complements grilled or roast meat or game. Ardant de Paradour: A golden white wine, fresh, fruity and with all the sunny characteristics of the southern Rhone valley. Serve chilled, with shellfish or any other kind of seafood. Page 3 Alsatian wines compare favourably with the Rhine wines of Germany... Sylvaner Hugel : A crism white Alsatian wine, gentle, fruity and satisfying. Produced entirely from the Sylvaner grape and recomende as the ideal aperitif of light luncheon wine. Willm Edelzweicker : A light, fruity white wine, the result of a delicate blending of several Alsatian grape varieties. New to Ontario and priced for the value conscious, it comes in the popular one litre bottle. Crystal d'Alsace Dopff & Irion : This dry, fruity white wine has been honored with many international awards. A product of the Sylvaner grape, it is particularly recommended with seafood. Crustaces Alsace : A dry, crisp white wine from the Alsace region with a discreetly and quite delightful fruity flavour.
