Antidepressant sedation that ends when your patient’s day begins. Because even after a good night’s sleep, ongoing antidepressant sedation may limit ability to perform. Your choice of an antidepressant to initiate and continue treatment may have a significant impact on that problem. Consider surmontil. Like doxepin and amitriptyline, surmontil is very effective in promptly relieving endogenous depression. And, like them, the entire daily dose of surmontil can be given at bedtime. But, surmontil causes little carry-over sedation. And the biggest lift of all for your patient: function. Motivated, not over-sedated. |
