Indicated throughout the hospital: outpatients, psychiatry, geriatrics, wards 1-8, surgery, obstetrics. Sparine anti-agitant, anti-emetic, analgesic potentiator. Sparine (promazine hydrochloride) is a phenothiazine of intermediate potency characterised by a low incidence of side-effects. Clinical experience has shown the effectiveness of Sparine in controlling agitation, nausea, and vomiting and in the management of pain. |
