Composition: 1 Tablet…..contains 10 mg. Clobazam. Indications: Anxiety and tension states. Anxiety neurosis. Obsessive compulsive neuroses. Phobias. Anxiety-related psychosomatic disorders. Anxiety -induced sleep disturbances. Concomitant therapy with neuroleptics of anxiety component in psychoses. Anxiety-induced mood depression. Supportive medication during alcohol withdrawal therapy. Supplementary medication in the treatment of hypertension. Disage: Adults: When treatment is initiated 20 to 30 mg. per day, the evening does should be taken 1 to 2 hours before going to bed. Where anxiety-caused sleep disturbances are a problem, 20 mg. may be taken in the evening. Children, light-weight and elderly patients: In general, half the above dosage. Contraindications: Myasthenia gravis, hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines. Caution: Not to be used in the first three months of pregnancy. There may be potentiation of other central depressant drugs. Use with care in second and third trimester. Side effects: Occasional dry mouth and dizziness in sensitive patients. Presentation: White tablets(Scored) containing 10 mg. Clobazam in bottle of 250 and 1000 tablets. |
