Anxiety can be a most depressing condition…Sometimes anxiety and depression aren't clear cut, well defined conditions. Often they co-exist, and a patient presenting with a confusion of symptoms may well be suffering from a mixed anxiety/depression syndrome. In these cases, treatment of one half of the condition will only serve to aggravate the other.
