New <Lexotan> for the treatment of Anxiety states <Lexotan> from the pioneers in benzodiazepine research. Indications: Anxiety states with tension, insomnia and agitation, also as clusters of symptoms referable to bodily symptoms. Psychoneuroses. Depression of reactive type. Anxious and depressive reactions in chronic organic diseases. Obsessive-compulsive states: phobias. Psychosomatic disorders. Contraindications: Myastheia gravis. Dosage: Average dosage for outpatient therapy: 1.5 to 3 mg three times daily. Severe cases, especially in hospitals: 6 to 12 mg two or three times daily. These are average recommendations, and dosage should be individually determined. Side effects: eg. Drowsiness, muscle weakness, dry mouth, depending on dosage and the individual.
