Imap. Weekly injectable neuroleptic. Imap possesses potent hallucinolytic, antidelirant and antiautistic effects. Imap betters the possibilities of communication, normalizes thought, behavioral and affectivity disorders. Its prolonged action allows for: the bettering of the patient's acceptance, the simplification of the nurses' activities and the prevention of relapses. Symptoms: maintenance treatment for psychotics. Excellent local tolerance to the application. Secondary effects and prevention: akathisia and dyskinesia depend on the dosage employed and the patient's sensibility. They could manifest themselves after 6 hours of each administration and spontaneously disappear between 24 to 48 hours. Other secondary effects: fatigue, hypersalivation, increased sweat and nausea. Disappear spontaneously as the treatment progresses. Contraindications: Parkinsons disease, endogenous depression and pregnant women. |
