One single dose is enough. Imap 7. Janssen. Antipsychotic with prolonged, predictable and replicable action. Symptoms. Treatment for the maintenance of schizophrenic patients, when the goal is to prevent relapses that could be anticipated because of the premature interruption of oral medication. Course of Action. The prolonged action of Imap is predictable: the therapeutic effects from one single dose last one week in different patients-and it's replicable-assures, in one same patient, regular control of the week to week symptomatology per dose administered. Secondary Effects. Eventual extrapyramidalism (akathisia and dyskinesia) after 6 hours of each administration and spontaneously disappear between 24 and 48 hours. They could be prevented or stopped through the use of an antiparkinsonism within the first 48 hours after having injected Imap.Other secondary effects: fatigue, hypersalivation, increased sweating and nauseas. Generally spontaneously disappear as the treatment advances. Contraindications: Parkinsons disease, endogenous depression and pregnant women. Imap 7 Janssen. |
