Major neuroleptic. Psyquil offers the typical spectrum treatment of a neuroleptic. If we want to situate triflupromazine in the neuroleptic family, we can predict that it will possess a disinhibiting function that does not surpass neuroleptics in the Lambert class but that its sedative action is probably inferior to Chlorpromazine. Uses: Troubles in behaviour and outbursts in retarded people, senile people, epileptics and the unbalanced, non-demential alcoholics. Schizophrenia, chronic delirium and manic states. |
